PDS Tech Commercial, a Military Friendly® Employer is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge aerospace projects. This is an onsite role where your systems engineering expertise will directly contribute to the design, testing, and advancement of next-generation technologies.
Position Summary
As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of complex systems and test strategies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet rigorous performance and environmental standards, while driving innovation and continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports based on customer and environmental requirements
- Conduct avionics testing in accordance with DO-160 and other MOPS standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system integration and performance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Drive quality and process improvements across engineering functions
- Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to solve complex challenges
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in systems or test engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD environmental testing
- Familiarity with MOPS such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283
- Proficiency in writing test procedures and reports
- Knowledge of software development life cycle
- Experience with quality management systems
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $75.00 per hour
