Location: Portland, OR | Starting Pay: $49.03/hr | Schedule: M–F, 6:30AM–3:00PM | Full-time Consultant (3 Months)
PDS Tech Commercial, a trusted staffing partner in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support our client’s high-impact operations in Portland, OR. This is your chance to bring your expertise in data analytics and Lean principles to a dynamic, fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
As a Manufacturing Operations Analyst, you’ll lead complex group sessions, leveraging advanced Lean methodologies to assess and optimize production processes. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining staffing compliance and driving data-informed decisions to improve business performance.
Lead assessments of manufacturing processes using advanced Lean principles.
Analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Support staffing and compliance efforts through detailed data analysis and administrative tracking.
Regularly input and manage confidential notes in internal databases.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement strategic plans and operational improvements.
Work 100% on-site in a manufacturing setting — PPE required.
Heavy Excel-based analytical work and administrative data entry.
Monitor and track staffing data with a high degree of confidentiality.
Participate in quick-turnaround tasks in a fast-changing work environment.
Coordinate with team members to ensure compliance with company standards.
Required:
Bachelor's degree + 10+ years’ related experience, or Master’s + 8+ years, or equivalent combination.
Advanced Excel skills and strong background in data analytics.
Ability to manage sensitive staffing data with confidentiality.
Comfortable wearing PPE and working on-site in a factory environment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Experience with Lean manufacturing.
Strong note-taking and database entry skills.
Adaptable in dynamic, high-velocity workplaces.
