Summary:
Installation, fabrication, and modification of aircraft interiors including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels on VIP aircraft.
Candidates should have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in installation or fabrication, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Fabricate monuments from raw materials (wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal, veneers).
Trim, fit, and install interior components such as galleys, doors, bulkheads, and tables.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Inspect incoming cabinetry and components; perform necessary troubleshooting and repairs.
Identify and label parts accurately using proper nomenclature.
Follow manuals and work orders for installations and repairs.
Replace or repair components and perform testing as needed.
Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to ensure workflow accuracy.
Accurately clock job assignments and complete them on schedule.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years of relevant installation or fabrication experience.
Aerospace industry experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Strong math and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Adaptable and collaborative, with a focus on quality and reliability.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
Able to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
Normal or corrected vision required.
Must be able to reach overhead and use both hands freely.
