What You'll Do 

As a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, you'll be a vital contributor in the development and modification of aircraft structural components and system installations. Your work will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and innovation of modern airframes. 

Day-to-day responsibilities include: 

• Designing and modifying both metallic and non-metallic parts as well as system installations (electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems). 

• Collaborating with static stress and fatigue experts to craft optimal design solutions. 

• Utilizing tools like CATIA, SAP, and VPM to create high-quality datasets and product structures. 

• Performing trade studies, supporting certification efforts, and providing in-service design support. 

• Applying deep technical knowledge to guide the successful completion of complex projects. 

• Acting independently while aligning with project timelines and engineering excellence. 

What You Bring to the Hangar 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering. 

• 9+ years of design experience in airframe structures and/or system installations. 

• Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, technical documents, and bills of material. 

• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite tools. 

Preferred Skills & Experience: 

• Experience working with maintenance repair practices and shop capabilities. 

• Strong familiarity with certification processes, weight reduction strategies, and layout maturation. 

• Ability to obtain or currently holds Authorizer/Approver Technical Signatory. 

• Prior exposure to international aerospace environments a plus.
