JOB TITLE: Wire Design & Installation Engineer 4
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $90.50/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)
Security Clearance: Clearance is not required to start; however, candidates must be eligible and able to obtain a clearance post-start.
Schedule: Full-time, 9x80 work schedule (in alignment with OKC operations)
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Overtime: Up to 25% may be required

Summary:
Develops and maintains cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs.
Analyzes results and leads design reviews.
Provides engineering disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
Documents processes, specifications, and procedures supporting the design and manufacturing of electrical commodities.
Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets.
Performs technical reviews of supplier capabilities to support source selection.
Works under minimal direction.
Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
Typically 9+ years of related experience, or:
(In the U.S., ABET accreditation is preferred but not required)
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
