Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract)
Pay Rate: $54.56/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Core Hours: 9 AM – 3 PM (must be flexible to work 8-hour days)
On-Site Only | No overtime without prior approval

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

As a Procurement/Purchasing Associate, you won’t just be placing orders—you’ll be influencing strategic decisions, navigating global supply streams, and ensuring critical parts and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

 What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

• Manage procurement operations including RFPs, cost analysis, and supplier communications.

• Prepare and issue purchase orders for a broad range of commodities—machined/sheet metal parts, hardware, electrical, vacuum-formed parts, and more.

• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues like late or missed deliveries.

• Support contract compliance and performance monitoring.

• Work with SAP (preferred) and Excel daily—pivot tables, XLookups, filters, and search functions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including international stakeholders (e.g., Philippines tier meetings).

• Serve as a key contributor in purchasing activities under general guidance, with autonomy in execution.

 What You Bring to the Table

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain/purchasing.

• Minimum 7 years of direct procurement/purchasing experience.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sound judgment.

• Experience with a range of commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLookups, filtering, sorting).

Preferred:

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems—SAP a strong plus.

• Exposure to CI (Continuous Improvement) business practices.

• Background in program or project management.
