About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll manage impactful process improvement initiatives—from engineering justification through vendor selection, acquisition, and implementation. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, your work will optimize plant layouts, equipment design, and manufacturing processes, supporting both operational excellence and compliance with aerospace industry standards.

Schedule & Pay

• Location: Fairfield, CA 94533

• Shift: Monday to Friday, First Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

• Pay Rate: $67.87/hour

• Job Type: Full-time Consultant (12 Months)

What You’ll Do

• Lead high-dollar process improvement projects from concept to implementation

• Manage vendor selection, purchasing, installation, and validation (IQOQPQ)

• Perform engineering analysis to adjust complex manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency

• Design and refine plant layouts to optimize productivity

• Define sequences of operations, develop fabrication procedures, and optimize equipment performance

• Ensure compliance with required modifications, programs, bulletins, and quality standards

• Translate innovative research into practical manufacturing solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience

• Strong project management skills and analytical mindset

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred

• Prior experience within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments
