What You’ll Do
As an Assembly Mechanic, you'll play a key role in the production and assembly of aircraft components. Your day-to-day work will include:
Assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, and inspecting structural components
Following blueprints, process specifications, and quality control guidelines
Performing functional tests and verifying form, fit, and function
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
Executing precise mechanical tasks such as:
Drilling and removing rivets
Installing Hi-Locs, freeze plugs, and bushings
Squeezing rivets in interior structures
Performing hole layout, pulling, oversizing, and splicing
Cutting, fitting, and modifying structural components
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in structural assembly or mechanical work
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings/blueprints
Skilled in installing and removing rivets, Hi-Locs, bushings, and related hardware
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience
Knowledge of FAA compliance standards
Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and quality

Pay Details: $42.83 per hour
