As a System Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you'll support advanced thermal analysis and simulation within aerospace launch vehicles, working alongside one of the industry's top defense contractors.
Your Impact
Conduct heat transfer and thermal analysis on critical aerospace structures, avionics, and propellants.
Solve complex thermal challenges for both ground and space environments.
Support design, integration, and testing activities through advanced modeling and reporting.
What You’ll Do Daily
Perform thermal analysis using classical methods and advanced software tools.
Develop and refine thermal models using Thermal Desktop, Sinda/Fluint, and ATAC.
Analyze flight and test data for continuous improvement.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s degree with 10+ years in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Proven experience in thermal analysis and simulation.
Familiarity with Thermal Desktop, Sinda, and Matlab.
Strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aerodynamics.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience in missile and space system applications.

Pay Details: $40.06 per hour
