PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled PC-DMIS CMM Programmer/Operator to support quality control operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your expertise in dimensional inspection and programming will directly contribute to the delivery of precision-engineered products.

About the Role
As a PC-DMIS CMM Programmer/Operator, you will be responsible for programming and operating coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software. You’ll ensure that complex parts meet exact specifications and support continuous improvement in inspection processes. This is a critical onsite position where your work will help maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate Hexagon 7.10.7 SF CMMs using PC-DMIS.

• Perform inspections on parts and raw materials to verify conformance to specifications.

• Develop robust, user-friendly programs with detailed instructions for machinists.

• Train others to execute your programs effectively.

• Inspect complex surface profiles using vector points without solid models.

• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.

• Record inspection results and support quality audits.

• Recommend improvements to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications
Required:

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum education requirement).

• 5+ years of inspection experience.

• Proficiency in PC-DMIS programming.

• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.

• Experience using hand measuring tools.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred:

• Experience programming complex surface profiles without solid models.

• Familiarity with quality control standards and labeling requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
