At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Electrical Instructor to lead technician training in electrical assembly production. If you’re passionate about coaching, teaching, and guiding talent within the aerospace industry, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
As an Electrical Instructor, you’ll design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that empower technicians to meet and exceed production and quality standards for electronic assemblies. Your leadership will help ensure technical excellence, workplace safety, and team confidence across multiple shifts.
Conduct learning needs analysis and establish training objectives.
Design course content and build instructional materials for electrical assembly work.
Lead classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, and workplace coaching sessions.
Evaluate training effectiveness, identifying development needs and opportunities.
Maintain a professional, collaborative presence in lab and classroom settings.
Ensure training aligns with company procedures and aerospace industry standards.
Track technician performance improvements and support continuous development initiatives.
Hands-on electrical experience, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace environments.
Demonstrated instructional or training delivery experience – leading classes, developing materials, coaching groups or individuals.
Strong communication skills and professionalism in all training environments.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Electrical assembly experience in aerospace production.
Familiarity with instructional design methods and modern development tools.
Hourly Pay: $42.51 - $47.23 per hour.
Full-time consultant role – 12-month contract with potential extensions.
