At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re searching for an experienced Mechanical Instructor to empower technicians supporting aerospace mechanical assembly. In this critical role, you'll deliver hands-on training that ensures production excellence and contributes directly to the success of aerospace programs.
As a Mechanical Instructor, you will lead training sessions focused on mechanical skills, certification, and operational excellence. Your expertise will help shape technicians' abilities, ensuring that our teams meet stringent quality and safety standards. This role offers an exciting mix of classroom instruction, lab demonstrations, workplace coaching, and performance development support.
Conduct learning needs analysis and define training objectives.
Design, develop, and deliver instructional content and training materials.
Lead group training sessions and hands-on workshops in mechanical assembly techniques.
Assess training effectiveness and provide individual or group coaching.
Collaborate with business partners to identify development needs and recommend solutions.
Monitor and support performance improvements across technician teams.
Ensure all training aligns with company policies and industry best practices.
Solid mechanical background, with direct hands-on experience.
Demonstrated experience in instruction or training delivery: leading classes, coaching employees, building course materials.
Strong communication skills and a professional presence in training environments.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience in aerospace production or mechanical assembly environments.
Familiarity with advanced instructional techniques and development tools.
Competitive pay: $42.51 - $47.23/hour.
Stable full-time, 12-month consultant role with potential extension.
Flexible scheduling: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts based on your preference and business needs.
