Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician
Location: Cheyenne, WY (Onsite at FE Warren AFB)
Job Type: Full-time | Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Must be available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
Initial Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $37.08 – $41/hour (commensurate with experience)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Operations Technicians (Structures, Avionics, Mechanics, Weapons) to support the MH-139 program at FE Warren AFB. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, modifying, and validating mission-critical aircraft systems. Your work ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge aerospace platforms.
Perform assembly, disassembly, and modification of aerospace systems and components
Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Conduct validation and verification testing of aircraft systems
Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
Document all maintenance actions to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
Inspect and verify repairs to meet flight-worthiness standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams under general direction
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of military aircraft maintenance experience
Proficiency with specialized tools: torque wrenches, micrometers, test equipment, sheet metal brakes, etc.
Willingness and ability to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MH-139 or rotorcraft maintenance
Prior work in aircraft modifications
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (current or previous)
Background in general mechanical systems
Experience as a Technical Inspector or in weapons systems maintenance
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Typically 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and training (e.g., vocational school, Associate’s degree + 2 years)
