Summary:

Performs fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of internal and external aircraft structures on the F-16 production line, following technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

This is hands-on production work requiring the ability to climb on fuselage parts, stand, kneel, and use ladders/stands as needed.

Install fasteners; drill bulkheads, skins, and fuselage components

Perform heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming of close-tolerance holes

Modify and assemble aircraft structures in a live production environment

Interpret and work from blueprints and engineering documents

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

8+ years of aviation production drilling/structures work (must be clearly listed on resume)

4 6 years of aircraft sheet metal drilling experience required

6+ years of general sheet metal experience

2 4 years of aircraft sheet metal repair experience

4 6 years of blueprint reading experience

Current or recent (within last 2 years) precision aircraft drilling experience is required

Live aircraft production experience is required bench-only mechanics will not be considered

Candidates must be dependable, hands-on, and physically capable of performing tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Must be flexible, team-oriented, and able to work off-shifts as required.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
