JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

Entry-level position

Assist with removal/installation of avionics and electrical components, wire harness fabrication, terminations, and functional testing of systems.

Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and equipment per blueprints and engineering drawings

Support task completion within designated timeframes

Help maintain required logs and documentation

Follow all safety guidelines and comply with FOD, tool control, and 5S programs

Properly maintain assigned tools and equipment

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

Must be able to use a multimeter

Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred, or recent completion of a related youth apprenticeship program

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer and software proficiency

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
