Ensure Quality from Warehouse to Runway
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Shipping/Repairs Quality Technician to support aerospace operations in Memphis, TN. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring that aircraft parts are inspected, packaged, and shipped according to strict industry standards—keeping fleets operational and customers satisfied.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute daily shipping schedules and activities to meet departmental goals.

• Pull, stage, and perform visual inspections of aircraft parts for quality assurance.

• Package aircraft parts in compliance with ATA 300 specifications.

• Ship units to repair shops, ensuring proper documentation and parts integrity.

• Track shipments, coordinate delivery of goods, and monitor warehouse KPIs.

• Validate cycle count inventory reporting and maintain audit readiness.

• Report directly to the Shipping Leader with daily updates.

• Monitor warehouse safety, including PPE compliance and hazard prevention.

• Maintain clean, organized shipping areas in compliance with material handling and hazardous waste protocols.

• Support workforce flexibility through cross-training initiatives.

• Handle all additional warehouse responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Forklift certification required (training provided if not previously certified).

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification.

• Knowledge of lean management principles and warehouse operations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
