Summary:
Responsible for operating, calibrating, and maintaining test stations used for optical and electrical checks on production units.
In the event of a unit failure, the engineer will support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions, either to the test station or to Manufacturing Engineering as appropriate.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate optical/electrical test stations
Support root cause failure analysis for failed production units
Recommend and implement corrective actions for test stations and production issues
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve unit failures
Utilize schematics and documentation for troubleshooting
Work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
Active Secret preferred; must be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret (not required to start)
Bachelor s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master s with 3+ years
1 2 years of experience in Power Electronics
2 4 years of experience in Production, Electrical Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
1 2 years of experience with Validation Test Plans and test stations in a production environment
Familiarity with lab equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
General knowledge of related technical disciplines
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
