Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (18-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | First Shift | 40 hrs/week (OT Optional)
Pay Rate: $57.45 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of aerospace products at a dynamic facility in Mountainhome, PA. If you are passionate about precision, compliance, and continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to lead quality efforts that directly impact product integrity and customer trust.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

• Lead escape management procedures, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and implement corrective action plans

• Provide expert support on quality regulations, procedures, and compliance to internal and external stakeholders

• Develop, implement, and evaluate inspection plans, ensuring adherence to AS9102 standards

• Participate in Quality Clinics and Material Review Boards; support nonconformance resolution and process improvements

• Analyze and explain testing and inspection methodologies to ensure product reliability

• Oversee program and product quality engineering processes and ensure documentation aligns with contractual and regulatory requirements

• Support supplier quality management, customer RMAs, warranty issues, and proactive quality initiatives

What You Bring to the Team

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience, or

• Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong familiarity with AS9100 standards

• Experience participating in or leading Material Review Board (MRB) activities
