Build the Future of Flight

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced wire shops, systems, and test labs in Seattle or Tukwila, WA. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in defining and executing the build plan for highly complex aerospace systems. Your work will directly impact the quality, efficiency, and performance of electrical manufacturing processes in a high-stakes environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies that improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated technical solutions.

• Lead the creation of manufacturing plans and evaluate product design for buildability.

• Analyze and resolve significant technical issues affecting performance, cost, or schedule.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and advanced technologies.

• Validate production readiness and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

• Experience with electrical/mechanical manufacturing and assembly sequencing.

• Familiarity with manufacturing tools such as PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, and GOLDesp.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering projects or teams.

• Background in military or space electronics.

• Project management experience and proficiency in work package estimating.
