PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Hopkinton, MA. In this vital role, you’ll be at the heart of aerospace innovation, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met across every stage of the production process. Your expertise will directly impact the safety, performance, and success of advanced aerospace systems.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Quality Inspector

• Job Type: Full-Time Contract (12 months)

• Location: Hopkinton, MA 01748

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9x80 First Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Pay Rate: $32.51/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on materials from internal and external sources for dimensional and certification compliance.

• Inspect in-process and final assemblies to ensure adherence to drawings and work instructions.

• Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and assist with Customer Source Inspections.

• Calibrate tooling, gauges, and measurement equipment either on-site or via suppliers.

• Utilize a variety of inspection techniques and tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and functional gauges.

• Support root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and leadership to uphold quality and process excellence.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality acceptance procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience in aerospace or similar technical fields.

• Proficient in reading technical drawings and applying GD&T principles.

• Familiar with standard metrology tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in a Physical Science or Manufacturing field.

• Experience inspecting CNC machined parts.

• Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

• Prior experience working with passive microwave components or antennas.
