Electronics Technician

As a Electronics Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our repair operations—testing, troubleshooting, and modifying complex avionics equipment returned from airlines and aerospace partners. Your work ensures that vital electronic systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Job Type: Full-time, Consultant (12-month contract)
Location: Wichita, KS 2051
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4th Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Training: First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for up to 6 weeks
Pay Rate: $25.52 per hour
Operate precision test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair circuit card assemblies at the component level
Align and adjust electrical components to ensure optimal performance
Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly of avionics units
Document repair actions and time tracking in SAP or service worksheets
Prepare detailed repair cost estimates and communicate findings
Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Surface mount and through-hole soldering experience
Strong understanding of electronics theory and components
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Associate degree or vocational certificate in electronics
Experience with RF repair and component-level troubleshooting
Familiarity with avionics systems and repair documentation
