About the Role

As an Employee Development Specialist, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, effective training programs that support the development of technical and professional skills across our aerospace workforce. From hands-on tool demonstrations to classroom instruction, your work ensures our teams are equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic industry.

• Job Type: Full-time, Consultant (5-month contract)
• Location: North Charleston, SC
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, variable shift based on business needs
• Pay Rate: $42.60 to $47.33 per hour

 What You’ll Do

• Conduct learning needs assessments and define clear learning objectives
• Deliver training sessions and evaluate effectiveness based on outcomes
• Proctor tests and ensure compliance with training standards
• Deploy development tools and monitor performance improvements
• Demonstrate proper hand tool usage and mechanical techniques
• Support knowledge transfer and skill-building across teams
• Adapt training delivery to meet the needs of adult learners in a technical environment

 What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer navigation
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Experience in adult learning and instructional delivery
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to demonstrate and explain hand tool usage
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience in aviation or mechanical environments
