PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals.
Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations by resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Repair or replace defective components using industry-standard techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
Implement and comply with engineering changes and system modifications.
Operate test equipment and perform functional tests to verify system reliability and performance.
Accurately document all work performed and prepare systems for inspection.
Test, maintain, and calibrate electronic systems and test equipment.
Follow all safety regulations and company programs including FOD, tool control, and 5S.
Adapt to schedule changes as required.
Participate in aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, OR Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and two (2) years of related experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
FCC License
NCATT Certification
Preferred knowledge in additional aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structures)
