JOB TITLE: Software Obsolescence Lead
LOCATION: Littleton, CO - Telework < 50% (Onsite required at least 3 days per week)
PAY RATE: Up to $100/hour

Summary:
Manage the Software Obsolescence Roadmap for the Orion program
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architects, Responsible Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Software Managers) to analyze the Software Baseline Matrix
Identify software components approaching EOL/EOS and proactively plan for updates
Coordinate with Software Architects and SMEs to ensure software upgrades align with program goals
Develop and implement replacement plans and mitigation strategies
Communicate plans and status updates to internal/external stakeholders and approval boards
Identify and recommend process improvements for the Obsolescence Roadmap
Develop strategies for cost avoidance related to software obsolescence
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a security clearance (This is a clearance-required role)
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience/combined education)
U.S. Citizenship required due to program requirements
Strong knowledge of obsolescence management principles and practices
Experience in human spaceflight, specifically in software development and integration
Familiarity with IT systems, including system software, security software, and asset management
Experience with DevOps methodologies
Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team; experience mentoring team members
