JOB TITLE: RF Test Technician
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 4/10 Schedule Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM EST

Overtime: Available on weekends

Per Diem: Available Additional $110.00/week

Summary:

Set up and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies following procedures, standards, and sequences

Assemble units for production electronic equipment per design specifications

Adjust and calibrate systems as needed

Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components

Troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams

Utilize various measurement tools: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Frequency Standards, Signal Generators, and RF Power Meters

Assist engineers with development of test procedures for new products and recommend product or process improvements

Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other control procedures

Work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment to meet customer deadlines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 4 years of direct experience in RF testing and troubleshooting

Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, analog, digital, and RF circuits

Experience using Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other data collection/documentation tools

Experience with flying probe and high-power testing

Analog testing experience

Familiarity with radar systems is a strong plus

Preferred Skills:

ICT (In-Circuit Testing) experience

Boundary Scan testing experience
