Are you ready to make your mark in the aerospace industry? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our elite team supporting cutting-edge aerospace projects at Hill Air Force Base. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the performance, durability, and mission-readiness of advanced defense systems.
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you’ll be at the center of testing and validating technologies that power next-generation aerospace systems. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will:
Assist in the development and execution of test procedures and configurations.
Operate and troubleshoot automatic test equipment and associated software.
Design simple hardware/software components and verify design integrity with analytical tools.
Collect, analyze, and process data sets using custom tools and methodologies.
Maintain detailed test logs, generate test reports, and archive critical data.
Solve calibration and instrumentation challenges to support mission success.
Contribute to ensuring electronic systems meet nuclear hardness and survivability standards.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
General knowledge of:
Test support equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
Electrical principles
Test measurement systems and data analysis tools
Integration and maintenance of test equipment and software
Experience in nuclear hardness and survivability testing
Knowledge of electrical design practices
Background in radiation-producing equipment
Exposure to high-voltage pulse power systems, Marx generators, and pulse forming
Familiarity with microelectronics performance in radiation environments
