PAY RATE: $23.57/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 5/40

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform a range of custodial and maintenance tasks to support the upkeep of equipment and facilities.

Practical skills and general knowledge in various trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work (though not at a journeyman level).

Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities.

Replace electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures, wires, and small motors.

Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.

Repair or replace sinks, toilets, and water coolers.

Paint buildings, structures, and equipment.

Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.

Replace or repair floor tiles, paneling, doors, locks, and broken window panes.

Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery as needed.

This position excludes individuals in formal apprenticeships, those requiring demonstrated proficiency in a specific trade, or those performing only basic duties such as changing light bulbs or faucet washers.

Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance

High School Diploma or GED

Previous custodial experience.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
