PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

Summary:
Work under moderate supervision in a team-oriented environment to perform structural assembly operations in a production setting.
Assemble and fit detail parts and structures; perform drilling and riveting to meet FAA, customer, and company standards
Use tools such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, countersinks, rivet shavers, and reamers
Interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine rivet type, size, and pattern
Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and fasteners
Check all work to ensure defect-free assemblies before final inspection
Maintain records (e.g., MIRs, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs); input labor into resource planning system
Keep work area clean and organized in support of the company s 5S and safety programs
Support Lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other assigned duties with professionalism and attention to detail
Participate in Kaizen events and other process improvement activities
Maintain and properly use tools and equipment assigned by supervisor
Adhere to all safety procedures and shop rules
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1+ year of structural assembly experience
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
Graduates of Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive 1 year of experience credit
Basic understanding of aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and 6" scale
Basic shop math and computer skills
Strong hands-on aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work on tight schedules
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to work any shift and in confined/restricted spaces (climb ladders, stairs, stands, etc.)
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
