FAA Senior Quality Engineer
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented FAA Senior Quality Engineer to support FAA-regulated operations. This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and product reliability in a repair station environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections and establish quality assurance testing models for raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, including Part 145, AS9100, and other industry standards
Conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to safety and quality protocols
Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability
Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to resolve quality and safety concerns
Exercise independent judgment and creativity in planning and executing quality initiatives
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
4–6 years of experience in quality assurance or compliance within an FAA-regulated environment
Strong knowledge of FAA Part 145 and AS9100 standards
Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions
Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with post-audit follow-up and regulatory reporting
Experience working with cross-functional teams in aerospace or aviation manufacturing
