JOB TITLE: Sealant Mechanics
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $29-38/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business needs
Read, interpret, and follow technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications in English
Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications
Install various aircraft system components (e.g., panel installations)
Operate mechanical lifts, including ladders, tiger lifts, and snorkel lifts
Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes
Perform in-tank sealing and structural work within fuel tanks
Conduct bond and ground measurements
Perform wash and rework of fuel tanks as required
Work in confined spaces (training and certification required)
Adhere to high standards of safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
7+ years of experience using software applications (e.g., email, Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, or other specialized tools)
7+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions in English
7+ years in a technical, mechanical, or advanced manufacturing role using hand, power, or pneumatic tools
7+ years of experience working with chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, adhesives, paints, or similar materials
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience (e.g., vocational school + experience, Associate's, Bachelor's)
Must be able to pass background screening requirements
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws
Physical Demands:
Must meet physical demands including bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking
Ability to work in confined spaces (certification required)
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
