Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
2nd Shift: Monday Thursday (4/10 schedule)

Summary:
Perform advanced rework on PCBs, including:
BGA reballing/replacement
QFN and leadless package rework
Fine-pitch SMT and high-density connector replacement
Assemble and solder through-hole and SMT components using hand and reflow soldering techniques
Conduct inspection and troubleshooting of assemblies using microscopes and X-ray/AOI systems
Implement rework procedures and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
Perform light mechanical assembly (installing standoffs, spacers, adhesives, epoxies)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per quality standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in soldering and rework (advanced techniques required)
Proficient with soldering tools (irons, reflow ovens) and inspection equipment (microscopes, AXI)
IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721)
Ability to read complex assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer skills and fluency in English (reading and writing)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Overtime may be required based on production needs
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
