PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Assemblers for a full-time, 12-month consulting opportunity in North Charleston, SC. About the Role

As an Assembler, you’ll perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and aircraft systems. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance, and innovation of next-generation aircraft. This is more than a job—it’s a mission-critical role in a high-tech, high-stakes environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Execute complex assembly tasks using manual and automated tools.
• Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Apply sealants, install aircraft system components, and perform in-tank sealing and rework.
• Operate mechanical lifts and work in confined spaces.
• Perform bond and ground measurements, fuel tank washing, and structural work.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Rotate across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts based on business needs.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing, mechanical, or technical roles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents in English.
• Skilled in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Experience with chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, adhesives, and paints.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, Microsoft Suite).
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior aerospace or aircraft assembly experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work any shift as required.
