Your Role & Impact:
As a Senior Engineering Technician, you'll be at the forefront of testing and troubleshooting electronics assemblies that support critical space and defense applications. You will play an essential role in executing a variety of tests—including dynamic, thermal, and functional testing—while using specialized test equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and functionality of high-tech systems that make an impact on national security and space exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronics, including dynamic, thermal, and functional tests.
Set up, program, and operate specialized test equipment to execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
Conduct fault isolation and provide solutions to technical problems in system integration and environmental tests.
Follow precise test procedures and maintain detailed test logs to ensure the accuracy and quality of each test performed.
Communicate daily shift updates verbally and in writing to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and standardization protocols while performing maintenance on equipment and labs.
Collaborate daily with engineers and other test technicians to ensure the success of test procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree, technical certification, or equivalent military training/experience in electronics.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronics discipline.
Expertise with General Purpose Test Equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, function generator, power supplies, DMM, logic analyzer).
Ability to read schematics, follow detailed procedures, and apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions with precision.
Willingness and flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, overtime, and shift changes as needed based on business demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military service (a plus).
Experience with Guidance and Navigation Electronics systems (a plus).
Environmental test experience (a plus).
