Are you passionate about clarity, precision, and impactful communication? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Writer Editor to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes Quality in transforming technical documentation for greater readability and integration across the organization. Your work will directly influence how critical aerospace processes are understood and executed—making a real difference in safety, efficiency, and innovation.

 What You’ll Do

As a Writer Editor, you will:

• Analyze and assess the readability of existing technical documents.
• Simplify complex content using clear language, structured formats, and visual aids like tables and figures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to revise and enhance documentation aligned with business process swim-lanes.
• Apply writing architecture best practices to improve comprehension and usability.
• Ensure consistency and clarity across multiple documents and departments.

 What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of technical writing experience.
• Background in the aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of technical processes in any discipline.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with manufacturing and quality systems.
• Project management experience.
• Exposure to generative AI tools and applications.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
