PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Fabrication Specialists (Entry-level and Associate) to join a high-performing aerospace manufacturing team in West Jordan, Utah. In this hands-on role, you'll support the composite fabrication process used in the production of essential aerospace components. From lay-up to assembly, your work will help shape the structural integrity of next-generation aircraft.

This is a full-time, 6-month consulting opportunity with the potential to expand your career in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

Position Details

• Location: West Jordan, UT

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Shifts: Variable – 1st (4:45 AM–3:15 PM) and 2nd (3:00 PM–1:30 AM) | 4/10 Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.54 – $38.56 per hour

• Type: Full-time | Consultant (6 Months)

• Onsite Work Required | Regular and Predictable Attendance is Essential
   

What You’ll Do

As a Fabrication Specialist, you will:

• Perform hands-on composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks

• Set up and operate fabrication machinery with precision and safety

• Execute composite bagging, forming, drilling, and bonding processes

• Prepare tools and materials to meet production specifications

• Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings

• Operate overhead cranes as needed to move large parts and equipment

• Ensure work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency

You’ll be working with composite materials used in critical aerospace structures—where precision, craftsmanship, and accountability matter every step of the way.

Qualifications You’ll Need

Required:

• Experience in composite fabrication or manufacturing

• Machine operation experience

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and technical documentation

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Preferred:

• Experience operating overhead cranes

• Previous work in aerospace or high-performance manufacturing environments

Education:
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years of related experience—or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on work experience.
