PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Electronic Technician to support a high-impact aerospace defense project in Oklahoma City. As part of our Advance Test Support Solutions (ATSS) team, you’ll play a vital role in building and troubleshooting special test equipment, wire harnesses, and chassis that support two major defense programs.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Assemble and kit components for rack-mounted chassis systems

• Perform hands-on aircraft wiring repairs and connector termination (Amphenol/Cannon)

• Build and install aircraft wire harnesses and support lab testing equipment

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system issues for integration and test

• Communicate progress and technical updates to the I&T team lead

• Work cross-functionally across three local sites to move work packages and parts

• Assist in developing test methods and compiling data to optimize procedures and equipment

• Support both custom and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) equipment builds

 Required Qualifications

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

• Formal or military electronics training

• Strong experience with aircraft wiring repairs and connector termination (soldering or crimping)

• Hands-on experience using general tools, test meters, and troubleshooting techniques

• Ability to read and follow detailed technical documentation and schematics

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher

• Familiarity with Mil-Std 1553 bus hardware

• Experience using oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters

• Experience building Mil-Std 1553 cables

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification

• Previous experience supporting military or aerospace test systems
