Pay Rate: $60.22 – $75.28/hour

As a Software Trainer at PDS Tech Commercial, supporting a top aerospace company, you’ll be at the forefront of training international defense personnel on cutting-edge command and control systems. This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
 
 What You’ll Do

• Deliver hands-on training to international personnel on software programming, patching, compiling, and testing for the COBRA Command and Control Center.

• Collaborate with software developers and integration teams to gain deep system knowledge.

• Support software development, integration, and testing for customer delivery.

• Design and implement a comprehensive training curriculum using ADDIE methodology.

• Conduct skills gap analyses and tailor training programs to meet learner needs.

• Report training progress and project status to the Training IPT Lead.

 
 What You Bring
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science + 10 years of experience, or Master’s + 5 years.

• Proficiency in at least two of the following: C++, C, Java, HTML/XML, Fortran.

• Expertise in structured programming and Agile methodologies.

• Strong grasp of Instructional System Design (ISD) and ADDIE.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military Instructor Certification (Navy, Army, USAF) with programming experience.

• Experience with military systems software integration and testing.

• Practitioner-level knowledge of software development for defense applications.
