JOB TITLE: Aircraft Interior Installation Technician I

PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Safely perform removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.

Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, repair station procedures, and quality standards.

Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track discrepancies, and complete required documentation.

Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes.

Maintain and properly care for shop equipment and tools.

Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.

Use personal protective equipment as required and address unsafe conditions immediately.

May support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Application installation, fabrication experience, or trade school preferred

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Must be able to work any shift

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined areas, and lift up to 40 pounds

Basic computer literacy required

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
