 About the Role

Are you a seasoned procurement professional with a passion for aerospace and defense? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Wichita, KS. In this high-impact role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing critical subcontracts, driving supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations—all while supporting some of the most advanced technologies in the industry.

 What You’ll Do

• Subcontract Management: Oversee subcontracts with precision, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and proper flow-downs throughout the supply chain.
• Supplier Engagement: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance and high-performance delivery.
• Best-Value Sourcing: Lead supplier competitions and negotiations, selecting partners based on best-value principles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, finance, and program management to align procurement strategies with operational goals.
• Proposal & Estimating Support: Contribute to cost estimation, financial analysis, and proposal development for prime contractors.
• Category Expertise: Support procurement in advanced composites, machining, and structural components.

 What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, subcontracting, or procurement within the defense industry.
• Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, subcontract flow-downs, and compliance best practices.
• Proven ability to lead supplier competitions and negotiate best-value contracts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in estimating, financial analysis, and proposal development.
• Familiarity with advanced composites, machining, and structures supply bases.
