JOB TITLE: Boiler Operator

PAY RATE: Up to $50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Operating and maintaining high-pressure, manually controlled and fully automatic steam boilers.

Servicing boilers, regulating temperatures, monitoring fuel feeds, maintaining proper combustion, and managing all supporting systems such as pumps, injectors, emission control devices, and related accessories.

Operate chillers, air compressors, and other essential equipment within the central utility plant.

Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers (manual and automatic)

Adjust temperatures, draft fans, and natural gas/fuel feeds to ensure optimal boiler performance

Perform regular maintenance on automatic equipment, emission controls, and pumps

Maintain proper water levels and fuel/water treatment

Monitor and interpret pressure, combustion, and system gauges

Conduct functional checks during operations and post-repair activities

Operate and maintain chillers, air compressors, and other utility plant systems

Open availability is required to support 24/7 operations

Potential for direct hire after 90 days based on performance and business needs

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Prior experience operating high-pressure boilers

Prior experience operating chillers and related equipment

Experience in a central utility plant or similar environment preferred

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
