Pay Rate: $25.61 – $26.20/hour
Contract Length: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Overtime: High demand – weekend work currently ongoing

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support cutting-edge aerospace projects. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

 What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll:

• Support manufacturing operations and collaborate with engineers on setup and calibration.
• Perform rework, quality testing, and final assembly of aerospace components.
• Use advanced tools and programs to monitor and adjust manufacturing processes.
• Assist in developing and refining production methods.
• Contribute to experiments and continuous improvement initiatives.

 What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (education will be verified)
• 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings
• Skilled with hand tools and basic math/geometry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Familiarity with epoxy/silicone adhesive prep and hazardous materials handling
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
