Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Program Manager for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage compliance for Client Power Units San Diego and Dallas in accordance with C-TPAT, ITAR, EAR, CBP, and OFAC standards
Evaluate and determine export/import requirements under ITAR, EAR, and OFAC
Prepare and monitor licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements, Commodity Jurisdictions, and Classifications
Ensure accurate product classification in line with Safran USA and U.S. government regulations
Oversee and maintain C-TPAT compliance (Dallas only)
Monitor export transactions for adherence to U.S. regulations and company procedures
Establish and support Export Compliance Coordinators
Assist with internal audits, investigations, and corrective actions
Retain and maintain export/import documentation
Conduct import/export compliance training
Interface with brokers, forwarders, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve import/export issues
Monitor AES filings and denied party screenings
Stay current with regulatory changes and update procedures accordingly
Ensure consistent compliance and perform site audits as needed
Participate in internal control and continuous monitoring efforts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations
Strong understanding of U.S. export control laws and compliance practices
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
SAP experience is a plus
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in compliance for aerospace or defense organizations
Knowledge of classification tools and export licensing workflows
Familiarity with AES filings and denied party screening platforms
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
WORK HOURS:
Full Time, 40 hours/week
1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
