JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under supervision. Assist with aircraft movement as needed.

    Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other documentation accurately and on time.

    Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

    Identify and tag customer property and equipment.

    Store aircraft components and customer property securely.

    Operate ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic units, lifts, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.) following standard procedures.

    Protect customer property at all times.

    Use material tracking system to create parts demand and charge labor to Work Orders, items, and squawks.

    Collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic and de-icing fluids, and solvent rags properly.

    Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.

    Maintain and properly store company-provided tools and equipment after use.

    Follow safety rules and procedures, use protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions.

    Assist with aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED.

    FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.

    Valid Driver s License.

    Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.

    Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
