This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of aerospace manufacturing—learning to operate CNC and manual machines that produce precision components for aircraft systems. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to something bigger.

Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Carroll, IA 51401
Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ($1.50/hr shift differential)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM ($2.00/hr shift differential)
  Pay Rate: $18.00/hr base + shift differentials
  Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime and weekend hours
   

 What You’ll Do

• Learn to set up and operate CNC/manual machines under supervision
• Adjust machine settings and change tooling as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Follow safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
• Participate in training to become certified within 120 days
• Support production goals through teamwork and reliability

 What You Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED (or 2 years of relevant experience)
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and occasional overtime

Preferred:

• Previous manufacturing or machining experience
• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of shop math and geometric tolerances
• Familiarity with computers and digital documentation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
