Location: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ 08641
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)
Pay Rate: $41.91/hr ($36.98/hr + $4.93 H&W)

This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.

 About the Role

As a Product Repair/Mod Technician, you’ll be at the heart of aerospace innovation—ensuring mission-critical systems are flight-ready and performing at their peak. Your expertise will directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of aerospace vehicles used in vital operations.

 What You’ll Do

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components.
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Repair and replace faulty components to correct failures or implement upgrades.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures, test results, and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Inspect components for flight worthiness and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and support training initiatives for team members.

 Education & Experience

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and 4 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree + 2 years’ related work, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).
• Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

 What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace systems maintenance, repair, or modification.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in aerospace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on military or commercial aircraft.
• Certifications in aerospace maintenance or repair.
• Leadership or training experience in a technical environment.
