Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Must be flexible to work all shifts (Starting on 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $58.18 – $72.51 per hour

 About the Role

Are you a seasoned aerospace manufacturing expert ready to make a real impact? As an Assembly Advisor supporting the KC-46 Boom Shop, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aircraft production. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

 What You’ll Do

• Serve as a Workplace Coach, advising on best practices in structures manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to assess operations and provide strategic guidance.
• Analyze defect reports and recommend preventative solutions.
• Lead coaching sessions and log activities for performance metrics.
• Train and mentor less experienced employees in leadership and facilitation.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process assessments.

 What You Bring

Must-Haves:

• Leading Aerospace company experience is required.
• 10+ years in aerospace manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in assembly and structures manufacturing.
• Proficiency in sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data from multiple sources.

Preferred:

• Experience with military aircraft programs (KC-46, P-8, E-7).
• Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Skilled in interpreting and delivering process-driven instructions.
• Adaptability in a dynamic shop floor environment.
• Completed blueprint reading course.
