Description:
Responsibilities for Civil Site Engineer:
•Manage exposure to severe weather (heat, cold, high wind, rain, snow)
•Perform a variety of civil/site design tasks and may be involved in multiple projects at the same time.
•Requires appropriate registrations necessary in order to seal project plans.
•Experience working on projects of $20M+
•Review local requirements and layout to ensure proper placement of ground space and utilities and cables.
•Work with existing processes to correctly open collocation projects.
•Perform analyses on projects of low complexity using hand calculations, hydroCAD, and other accepted methods.
•Assist in design of modifications for compound expansion.
•Work with Designer staff on the development of construction drawings.
•Lead and facilitate civil engineering design staff.
Qualifications for Civil Site Engineer:
•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an ABET accredited curriculum
•At least 16 years of civil engineering experience with at least seven years of experience acting in responsible charge of engineering design work products.
•Professional Engineer License required, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of employment
•Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation preferred
•Experience with SpecsIntact preferred
•Experience with site development design and construction drawing preparation with a focus on leading the integration of grading, paving, utilities, and storm drainage engineers
