Chipton-Ross is seeking a Business Analyst I for a contract opportunity in Carson, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Preferred experience in data analysis and a strong understanding of business processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Solid ERP knowledge. Developing proficiency within discipline; moderate skill sets required. Able to work independently under moderate supervision and make sound decisions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze business issues and define system requirements to address organizational information challenges. Design computer programs and recommend automated system controls and protocols. Determine operational objectives by gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats. Collaborate closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements to ensure alignment with timeline and budget. Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write detailed specifications. Develop organizational change management frameworks and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT). Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Create end-user documentation such as user guides, process flow charts, and training materials. Deliver user training sessions to support system adoption. Core Competencies
