Pay Rate:

• $74.33–$78.30/hr (Colorado Springs)
• $75.51–$79.54/hr (Huntsville)

Join PDS Tech Commercial as a Software Development Engineer and contribute to one of the most critical defense initiatives in the country. You’ll be part of a high-performing team supporting the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program, helping to safeguard the nation through advanced missile defense systems.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor to the C2BMC software team, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing Java-based mathematical algorithms for missile defense systems.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution.
• Collaborating in Agile teams to plan and execute development sprints.
• Supporting software requirements and architecture development.
• Creating and executing integration and test processes, tools, and documentation.
• Working 100% onsite with occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 9+ years of engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD).
• Proficiency in Java or Java Spring.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in defense or aerospace software systems.
• Background in systems integration and testing.
• Exposure to large-scale, mission-critical software environments.
