Be the Gatekeeper of Quality in Next-Gen Aviation

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Quality Inspector to support a global leader in aviation technology. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure that every component of our Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations (ALCI) meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Your work will directly impact the comfort and reliability of aircraft cabins around the world.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be the frontline of our quality assurance process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting mechanical and cosmetic inspections on aerospace components.
• Supporting new product introductions with rigorous quality control.
• Inspecting incoming goods, returns, and assemblies for compliance.
• Documenting non-conformances and escalating major issues to leadership.
• Performing First Article Inspections to validate production readiness.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Proven inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with quality disciplines such as 8D reporting, 5 Whys, and corrective action reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
